When temps are high (above 75) it is doubtful your jar of fat marshmallow fluff will make it to you in the same state it left the studio. Like other fats & oils, it is solid at cool temps and liquid in warmer ones.

While most folks are okay with the change in texture, some are not, and to avoid any misunderstandings and folks upset with receiving a melted mallow, we are pausing shipping until we can find a better insulated packaging solution. That being said, we are happy to still ship it to you if you understand this and are unbothered by the change in texture! If interested please reach out via our contact us button, let me know how many you would like to order, along with your shipping and email address, and I can send an invoice over to you to complete your purchase.

While melting will not effect the efficacy of your jar of fat marshmallow fluff, it will effect the texture. If it does melt, you can pop it in the fridge to firm it up. If you want to revive that OG fluff texture, scoop it from the jar, pop it in the fridge overnight, and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it back up!

Slather it on, but try not to lick it off! fat marshmallow is quite simply, a whipped tallow skin fluff- a whipped body butter. It is the most pared down & simple of our recipes: tallow, a bit of beeswax, infused with vanilla bean & marshmallow root, with no additional colors or fragrances, plus just a dash of arrowroot added to keep it from being too greasy upon application. Product is sold by weight, and each jar contains 11 oz of fluff.

Retro food packaging is a design DREAM & the marshmallow fluff jars are iconic AF. If you knew Vellum St founder and former chef Melissa Torre in the Cookie Confidential days, you know her cupcake line, Undercover Cupcake, came exclusively in jelly jars with red lids, with a fluffy cream cheese frosting piped in thick layers above, below & in between the cakes. fat marshmallow is a nod in part to those two tasty treats, but done Vellum style, for your skin!

Please keep in mind, due to the delicate nature of the texture of this product that extreme temperatures can affect consistency. Cold will cause it to stiffen up a bit, while heat will cause it to melt. We will not be shipping this item during the warmer summer months!

Excellent product

I love love love this tallow, the only one I'll ever purchase. I usually purchase this tallow from one of their other sellers, but they were out of stock. So I purchased here from the main source and paid for the 2 day shipping. Two day shipping turned into a whole week, hence the 3 star rating.

Hi Shel! So glad you love the product! As I explained in the email to your shipping inquity, we do not have any control over the time USSP takes to deliver packages. While they say Priorty Mail takes 2-3 days, if you check their site, it will also stath that that time frame is not guarenteed. When you purchase shipping for your products on our website, you are purchasing a service from the chosen carrier, NOT us. We have zero control over what happens to your pachage once it is tendered to the carrier, and only have access to the same information as you do. I hope this better explains how USPS is a completely seperate business from us. Thanks again for your order!

Natural is the way to go

Found this at my local farmers market here in Denver and fell in love. I would highly recommend as this is great for dry climates and also helps with any skin conditions in the best part about it is you can use it in your hair beard like it says from head to toe some of the best stuff I will continue to keep coming back and supporting now.
