PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING!!!!!

When temps are high (above 75) it is doubtful your jar of fat marshmallow fluff will make it to you in the same state it left the studio. Like other fats & oils, it is solid at cool temps and liquid in warmer ones.

While melting will not effect the efficacy of your jar of fat marshmallow fluff, it will effect the texture. If it does melt, you can pop it in the fridge to firm it up. If you want to revive that OG fluff texture, scoop it from the jar, pop it in the fridge overnight, and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it back up.

fat marshmallow is the ultimate healthy skin moisturizer! Biocompatable grass fed tallow, lightly scented with real vanilla beans and whipped into the creamiest fluff...its a treat your skin won't forget and your mouth may be a little jealous of! Slather it on, but try not to lick it off! fat marshmallow is quite simply, a whipped tallow skin fluff- a whipped body butter. It is the most pared down & simple of our recipes: tallow, a bit of beeswax, infused with vanilla bean & marshmallow root, with no additional colors or fragrances, plus just a dash of arrowroot added to keep it from being too greasy upon application. Product is sold by weight, and each mini jar contains 1.5 oz of fluff.

Retro food packaging is a design DREAM & the marshmallow fluff jars are iconic AF. If you knew Vellum Street founder and former chef Melissa Torre in the Cookie Confidential days, you know her cupcake line, Undercover Cupcake, came exclusively in jelly jars with red lids, with a fluffy cream cheese frosting piped in thick layers above, below & in between the cakes. fat marshmallow is a nod in part to those two tasty treats, but done Vellum style, for your skin!

*A note on plastics* Up until now, we have been a 100% plastic free company, but we just couldn't source tiny red metal lids ANYWHERE (believe me, we have been trying!). These lids are a medical grade plastic that contains no BPAs. We also couldn't source a reasonable quantity of tiny jars in our usual manner (post consumer via non-profit Bottle Underground), so we are sourcing these jars brand new (from the amazing PA based Fillmore Container). Due to this, these Mini Me jars of fat marshmallow fluff are likely to be a limited time offering - but we are going to trial them and see how it feels/what YOUR feedback is - so please let us know your thoughts! Being a sustainable company at every step of the way is a very nuanced path, and we rely on you for your input!

Please keep in mind, due to the delicate nature of the texture of this product that extreme temperatures can affect consistency. Cold will cause it to stiffen up a bit, while heat will cause it to melt. We will not be shipping this item during the warmer summer months!

The ultimate moisturizer

I was convinced at first slather but you should try it for yourself. All of my friends that try it are amazed. Will restock asap!

Amazing!

My skin is severely sensitive and acne prone and I've tried every product under the sun (prescription and otherwise), and every skincare product I've tried has caused a reaction of some kind.
My dermatologist recently recommended cutting out all skincare (not even cleanser or moisturizer) just to find out where my baseline is. My skin immediately started getting better! It's completely changed my mind about modern skincare, and made me take a closer look on what taking care of our skin looks like.
I stumbled upon this fat marshmallow tallow product completely randomly, and was immediately intrigued by the minimal ingredients (no pores clogging oils or irritating essential oils included!) and had to give it a try.
BLOWN AWAY!
I have not had any irritation or cystic acne this whole month I've tried it! My skin feels soft and moisturized, and the oil soaks into my skin instead of just sitting on top, which is unheard of from such a thick product. I don't think I'll ever go without it again. Please keep making this Melissa!

Wow!

I bought a mini jar, BTW adorable, at Whole Foods yesterday for my daughter for Valentine’s Day. I opened it and slightly dotted my finger in and put it on the back of my 60 year old hand about the size of a half dollar area. 5 hours later I just happened to look at my hand and thought “when did I hit my hand?” because it looked “puffy” in that spot compared to the rest of my hand and my other hand, then I remembered that was where I rubbed in the Fat Marshmallow! Then I smelled it and it had this lovely light scent of vanilla 5 hours later, and after two hand washings. It was so soft too! I am NOT a lotion user because I do NOT like the feel of anything on my skin or the smell that lingers. This however did not happen. If that tiny amount can do that I am intrigued on what it can do for my whole body. I purchased the whole pack and cannot wait for it to arrive! I knew tallow was great for cooking, but never knew the benefits for our skin. And bonus, the cows have been getting such a bad rap lately, it’s nice to see some redemption! So YAY for the Moo-Moo’s too!! Thank you for being thoughtful in the making of your product!
