When temps are high (above 75) it is doubtful your jar of fat marshmallow fluff will make it to you in the same state it left the studio. Like other fats & oils, it is solid at cool temps and liquid in warmer ones.
While melting will not effect the efficacy of your jar of fat marshmallow fluff, it will effect the texture. If it does melt, you can pop it in the fridge to firm it up. If you want to revive that OG fluff texture, scoop it from the jar, pop it in the fridge overnight, and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it back up.

It is the most pared down & simple of our recipes: tallow, a bit of beeswax, infused with vanilla bean & marshmallow root, with no additional colors or fragrances, plus just a dash of arrowroot added to keep it from being too greasy upon application. Product is sold by weight, and each mini jar contains 1.5 oz of fluff.

If you knew Vellum Street founder and former chef Melissa Torre in the Cookie Confidential days, you know her cupcake line, Undercover Cupcake, came exclusively in jelly jars with red lids, with a fluffy cream cheese frosting piped in thick layers above, below & in between the cakes. fat marshmallow is a nod in part to those two tasty treats, but done Vellum style, for your skin!
*A note on plastics* Up until now, we have been a 100% plastic free company, but we just couldn't source tiny red metal lids ANYWHERE (believe me, we have been trying!). These lids are a medical grade plastic that contains no BPAs. We also couldn't source a reasonable quantity of tiny jars in our usual manner (post consumer via non-profit Bottle Underground), so we are sourcing these jars brand new (from the amazing PA based Fillmore Container). Due to this, these Mini Me jars of fat marshmallow fluff are likely to be a limited time offering - but we are going to trial them and see how it feels/what YOUR feedback is - so please let us know your thoughts! Being a sustainable company at every step of the way is a very nuanced path, and we rely on you for your input!
Please keep in mind, due to the delicate nature of the texture of this product that extreme temperatures can affect consistency. Cold will cause it to stiffen up a bit, while heat will cause it to melt. We will not be shipping this item during the warmer summer months!

I just stumbled upon the mini jar in my local organic grocery store in Philly. This product is top notch. I’m also a scientist and I know a few extras on vanilla beans that this brand might have used just for the smell. Well together with tallow vanilla beans add to the anti inflammatory property of the fats ;-) no need to explain the biology behind that. This is a super find!

My favorite moisturizer in a tiny refillable jar. I love it!
