Amazing but not easy to use

I absolutely love the product. But as a medical professional I wish I had this in a traditional chapstick applicator and not a tin. I don’t like putting my finger in the tin to apply the product as even if my hands are clean, I’m afraid of leaving germs in the tin. This also limits my ability to put it on anytime because I will only use it when I know my hands are very clean. As opposed to traditional chapstick tubes you can apply them whenever without having to use your fingers to apply.
Cannot say enough about how amazing the actual product is though!

Hi Emma! So glad you are loving the lip balm, and I have good news for you regarding the packaging -No fingers needed! ☝️💋 Literally all you need to do is snap open the tin, apply directly to lips, and snap shut! If you check out the photos on our Lip Balm page on our website, you can see an instructional video demonstrating this. We won’t likely ever use tubes, for a couple of reasons. One, these tins are so easy to repurpose for other uses (one of which is refilling with our solid lotion), plus they’re able to be recycled in more communities. The other is that plastic lip balm tubes are, well, plastic, while cardboard lip balm tubes aren’t really refillable, plus contain plastic in the form of a moisture barrier on the inside of the tube. This barrier is generally necessary as cardboard will degrade when wet, so it needs some help to keep products fresh. We try to avoid plastic as much as possible, not only for environmental purposes, but for health concerns as well. Micro plastics are being found in more & more places, and our bodies just haven’t evolved to process them. While we’ll likely never eliminate plastics completely from our bodies, waterways, or world, doing our best to lessen them could be a good idea, especially for those with compromised immune or liver/kidney function, as the more we introduce, the more these systems need to work to filter out and process these foreign substances. 💋

Please make great gifts. My children have enjoyed giving them out to their friends and explaining the importance of what they're putting on their skin.

My kids absolutely love these and they make great gifts. They're just the right size. Easy to pack and they're also great for adding a quick amount of moisturizer to your knuckles or elbows in the winter.
