When temps are high (above 75) it is doubtful your jar of fat marshmallow fluff will make it to you in the same state it left the studio. Like other fats & oils, it is solid at cool temps and liquid in warmer ones.

We are now offering an option to add a compostable "cooler" box (insulated thermal panels) to your order. When paired with ice packs (which we will include) these packs will help keep the contents cool for 48 hours. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST CHOOSING THIS OPTION. Up to 4 jars of fat marshmallow fluff will fit into each cooler box. You can see the options in the drop down menu for number of jars you would like to purchase, and you will also see that we have applied discounts to multiple jar selections when choosing the cooler box option.

As these thermal & ice packs only keep contents cool for approximately 48 hours we suggest choosing an appropriate shipping option at checkout - the default is always the least expensive, but we suggest you choose the option that will get you your package in 2 days or less. We cannot guarantee that your fluff will remain solid even when choosing all of the best options! Delivery trucks and warehouses get HOT!!

While melting will not effect the efficacy of your jar of fat marshmallow fluff, it will effect the texture. If it does melt, you can pop it in the fridge to firm it up. If you want to revive that OG fluff texture, scoop it from the jar, pop it in the fridge overnight, and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it back up!

Slather it on, but try not to lick it off! fat marshmallow is quite simply, a whipped tallow skin fluff- a whipped body butter. It is the most pared down & simple of our recipes: tallow, a bit of beeswax, infused with vanilla bean & marshmallow root, with no additional colors or fragrances, plus just a dash of arrowroot added to keep it from being too greasy upon application. Product is sold by weight, and each jar contains 11 oz of fluff.

Retro food packaging is a design DREAM & the marshmallow fluff jars are iconic AF. If you knew Vellum St founder and former chef Melissa Torre in the Cookie Confidential days, you know her cupcake line, Undercover Cupcake, came exclusively in jelly jars with red lids, with a fluffy cream cheese frosting piped in thick layers above, below & in between the cakes. fat marshmallow is a nod in part to those two tasty treats, but done Vellum style, for your skin!

Please keep in mind, due to the delicate nature of the texture of this product that extreme temperatures can affect consistency. Cold will cause it to stiffen up a bit, while heat will cause it to melt. We will not be shipping this item during the warmer summer months!

Absolutely LOVE it!!!

The first thing I noticed about this stuff is how damn good it smells! I also really like the consistency of it. It feels kind of like cookie dough but a lot smoother. I first tested it on my hands and boy, does it make my skin really soft!

Additionally, the jar it comes in is so nostalgic for me. It's so much nicer to have a glass jar with a metal lid. Not only for environmental purposes, but it also shows that each product was prepared individually, with more love and conscious thought put into it. That aspect definitely adds to a consumers experience and appreciation for it.

Based on those wonderful features, I highly recommend this! 5 stars from me! Thank you :)

Simply the best!

I love everything I've tried from the fat marshmallow line. The skin fluff is such a versatile product. I use it as a body and face moisturizer and as a deep conditioner for my hair. It also makes a fabulous tinted moisturizer when I mix a bit of my mineral powder with it. Unlike other brands of tallow creams, it doesn't irritate my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. And as a vanilla lover, the scent is divine. I think this is one of the most stellar tallow creams available. Thanks so much for formulating such an amazing, nourishing product!

Obsessed is an understatement

I found this gem at my local co-op and it has transformed my skin! I use it head to toe every single night and also use it on my cuticles, the ends of my hair as a leave-in conditioner, and on my face when I get patches of dry skin during the winter. I have extremely sensitive skin and eczema, so finding a product that I can use all over and see amazing results with is so rare. It is also so effective when applied to minor scratches/surface wounds, helping them to heal and preventing scars from forming. I was gifted the tallow lip balm and shampoo bar for Valentine's Day and quickly added these to my self care regimen. Knowing exactly what ingredients are in all these simple yet high-quality products is so refreshing compared to the cocktail of chemicals in most bath and body products out there. I will recommend this to anyone who listens to me!

Literal gold

This stuff is literal gold. I don’t know what I did before it! From the delicious scent to the anti-ick factor when it comes to the ingredients… I have felt incredible as a mom and a woman using this for myself and my babies. I’m so thankful to have found this product. Currently, I use it daily after showers, baby baths and (my favorite) when I’m washing dishes. I slather it on my hands and put on a pair of rubber gloves and let the it do its magic. After I take those puppies off my hands are gorgeous. Going from cracked/dry mom hands to gorgeous youthful skin with a crack ne’er in sight.

This is also my go-to gift for friends (even the ones with sensitive skin!) and everyone is obsessed. Thank you for making something I can feel good using/giving to everyone.
