Lard, while similar to tallow in many ways, has the distinction of being even closer in structure to our own sebum, making it highly compatible with our skins microbiome. Lard also has higher amounts of Vitamin D2 & D3, Zinc, and Choline than tallow. Being a softer fat than beef tallow, lard really works wonders on the hair as well! Of COURSE our lard comes from local farms that pasture raise their piggly wigglies.

Purslane, aka LITTLE HOGWEED, contains polysaccharides (natural humectants) that help keep skin hydrated. Purslane is also known for its antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties.

I never thought I would like tallow or lard. Of course like most I have seen videos of people using tallow. Not to mention a few of my girlfriends have ordered it off Amazon. However, it wasn’t until I tried my one friends marshmallow fluff and heard her feelings on it- that I decided to give it a try. She sent me the link to vellum street and I started reading all about your story and the products you sell. I learned about the ingredients you use, and why they are good for one’s skin. But what really sold me was how everything you create is in house (along with local sourcing). Being a south jersey girly I love knowing that this is made from someone so close!

This is truly one of the best products I have ever used. I have already reached out twice praising you guys for creating the tub of lard- and to never stop selling it. I have/had a horrible psoriasis spot on my body (that has never fully healed) and this is the first time I’ve ever seen progress like this without a proscription. I am truly in awh! As a nurse this is also a game changer for chapped hands, and hey let’s not forget about the scent! THE ALMOND. It’s everything and more. I look forward to my night routine of showering and “larding” myself before bed. It’s the addition to one’s self care routine. I can’t wait until you put it in a mini lip as well. I would like to note that I also like the original scent- it’s great for mint lovers and ones lips during the winter.

This almond balm is DECADENT. Melts into skin, not greasy, and smells incredible. My grandma always put almond extract in her pie crust so this is very reminiscent of that for me. So moisturizing and absorbs perfectly! Your partner or your pets are going to think you're a snack lol I'm running low so I'ma need to get me another one asap lol

It smells amazing. The same wonderful, luxurious texture with an amazing smell. I could eat this; it’s so good!
This is hands down my favorite moisturizer. I use my lotion as a first layer and the balm as a second layer. It is extremely moisturizing and keeps my skin feeling nourished and comfortable throughout the day. The almond scent is amazing. I also like that I can use this on my face without any irritation.
